  • Classes are fun, friendly and welcoming and you will be guided at your own pace. 

    You will increase your health and wellbeing on all levels, increase knowledge of and confidence with yoga techniques. You will be able to make the most of Dru Yoga both within and outside of the class setting.  The nurturing style of Dru Yoga will leave you feeling uplifted and inspired

  • Structure of a yoga class

    Yoga classes are an hour and a half long. Whilst there are variations in pace and content, classes are based around the following format:

    • Short welcome and time to connect with body and breath.
    • Fun, easy to do movements to music, allowing you to warm up muscles, loosen up the joints and feel energised.
    • Energy Block Release Sequence, (flowing movements, specific to Dru yoga, that help to release tension physically, mentally and emotionally) 
    • Asanas ( postures) or Yoga sequences.
    • Pranayama. specific breathing techniques
    • Deep relaxation, allowing you to feel rejuvenated.    
  • Dru yoga has definitely helped with my chronic fatigue - and I have been able to surprise myself by doing more than I initially felt like I could.

  • Structure of a meditation class

    The length of meditation  classes vary but they generally follow the following format:

    • Short Inspirational  Introduction
    • Warm Ups and Gentle yoga,
    • Relaxation
    • Breathing Techniques
    • Meditation Techniques  done sitting on a Chair or on the Floor depending on your preference.
    • Silence and often an Inspirational Reading

    (You then float home!) 

    Classes are fun, friendly and welcoming; we aim to put you at your ease!

    It doesnt matter if you practise on a chair or cross legged on the floor, you will learn practical  ways to still the body, quieten the mind and find a sense of inner peace.

  • I love Jane’s meditation class. Her gentle encouragement fosters a sense of acceptance and the class creates space 'to be' and recharge. I think the lovely venue does have a very positive effect on the class.
